The little rescue with a big heart
Our primary mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, permanent homes for homeless dogs, specifically dogs in shelters at-risk of euthanasia and dogs whose owners can no longer care for them. We believe in compassionate rescue when the dog is enduring inhumane living conditions or likely to be deemed less adoptable due to age, health, emotional state, or breed. We ensure that all the dogs we take into our rescue, regardless of individual needs, are cared for with love and compassion for the duration of their lives.

Meet Willa. She reminds us that age is just a number and that it’s never too late for a second chance at love. Willa is a senior but doesn’t seem to have gotten the message: She’s bouncy, energetic, and as full of life as her younger counterparts. Friendly and affectionate with everyone she meets, Willa loves to climb into people’s lap to cuddle. She’s a quick study and aims to please, so she’ll also deactivate her Velcro properties when you ask for space. Treat and praise-motivated, Willa is taking to her obedience and crate-training quickly and is looking forward to being a prized family member. She’s grateful for this second chance and lets her people know it with an infectious grin that never seems to leave her face. In honor of National Pet Day, please enjoy Princess Lula’s moment of zen. She’d love to have more moments like this and to get back to being someone’s pet, but we can’t seem to entice a foster to open up their home to her. In the meantime, she’s in a boarding facility where she spends the majority of her day wondering when she can get back to snuggling on the couch with a human all her own. I wish I could foster her. She seems wonderful! But, sadly, I’m maxed out on fosters right now 🙁
No I was his owner from Jan 2020 until the moment he died. He was a big love bug. We moved from TX to AR and we had lived there until the pet sitter I was using while I was in the hospital gave him away. I search and asked but no one knew where he was. At least now I know he is in dog heaven ❤️
